Here we have a 1977 '77 MXR Analog Delay, AKA the "Green Monster," in fantastic, nearly unblemished, condition. It sounds as good as it looks. This is the earlier version of the legendary pedal, which came with two input-output jacks. Later versions had three sockets -- one for input, one for output and one output for delay only. I have compared both versions side by side and -- while both versions blow away most anything made since -- the earlier models have even more warmth and depth. These are dark-sounding delays, producing incredible atmospherics and hypnotic repeats. You can get extra spacey while staring at your shoe tops.
