MAESTRO MFZ-1 FUZZ EFFECT PEDAL VINTAGE 70’S RARE WITH BATTERY COVER WORKS GREAT

MAESTRO MFZ-1 FUZZ EFFECT PEDAL VINTAGE 70'S RARE WITH BATTERY COVER WORKS GREAT

Own a piece of music history! Up for sale is a very rare VINTAGE Maestro MFZ-1 fuzz pedal made by Norlin (Moog) in the 70's. They were only made for a few years and this one has a battery door (cover) that works perfectly. It's rare to find one with the battery cover, let alone one intact. Item is fully functional and both effects work appropriately (fuzz and volume). Both wheels are sturdy and turn without issue. Both also have the black centerpiece in the wheels. One of the cleaner ones you'll find online. This Moog built, Op-Amp fuzz from the mid 70's kicks some serious ass! Used extensively on the first couple Black Keys records, it has (re)grown some popularity, but surprisingly you can still find these behemoths for a decent price. The pedal itself is HUGE, it dwarfs some of the bigger EHX effects so you know its got some girth. Sound-wise it sits somewhere between a heavy overdrive and an IC-Muff with the gain rolled back a bit. This tone is hard to replicate and very sought after by vintage tone chasers. No returns or refunds of vintage electronics. Item sold as is. More pics available upon request. Feel free to contact me with any questions. Buy with confidence! 100% rated! Here's a link to a soundclip of this item below. Thanks for looking!                                   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jVdxNK7tfs8feature=youtu.be
