Cusack Effects - Tap-A-Delayhttps://secure.guitarstable.com/ebay/pedals%207-25-17d/D12%20Tap%20a%20Delay%2050%20(1).JPG

The Tap-A-Delay is a 750ms digital delay that mixes the original analog signal with the delayed signal. It is gritty and a bit noisy and very analog sounding. This isn’t your clean studio quality digital delay with perfect repeats. The Cusack Effects - Tap-A-Delay is a highly usable and versatile delay with an updated and handsome aesthetic. This delay features digital functionality with the subtle grit and noise taken from analog delays of the past. The eight position modulation knob delivers different presets from warm to spacey.

The "Break Mode" selector switch allows the tap tempo button to perform an extra function in your sonic arsenal. Ramp up to a faster delay by holding the tap button, slow your delay time to a crawl, or tap in your speed at any time. An additional position allows for the player to speed up the delay, then slow back to the original tempo much like the break on a rotary speaker. An internal pot also allows for setting just the right tone from bright with a little clock noise to dark background depth. This is a utility delay for sure, with some innovative functionality thrown in that make it a great addition to any pedalboard.

Level, Mix, Feedback and Delay knobs as you would expect. The Delay time can be set with the knob or by pressing the Tap Speed switch twice. When tapping the tempo, the Divide toggle selects 1/8, *1/8, and 1/4. The Modulation Knob is an 8 position switch that selects several warm modulation themes as well as a few outer space themes. The Mode switch decides how the brake function works. Left: holding the brake will alternate between slowing down and speeding up. When you release the switch, it stays right where it was. Middle: ”Snap Back”. Holding the switch will either slow down or speed up (depending on how you set it up). When you release the switch it snaps back to the original tempo. Right: “Slide Back”. Slide back is the same as Snap Back, except the tempo slides back to the original tempo slowly. To select between Speed Up and Slow Down for the Slide and Snap modes, just tap both foot switches. The light will blink to let you know it changed. If it was Speed Up, it will now be Slow Down. Internally, there is a “Brightness” pot that adjusts the tone of the repeats. All the way up is bright, with a lot of clock noise coming through. All the way down is very dark. 2 O’clock seems to be a good “middle ground” for my ear.

Used guitars that are listed as “Pristine are perfect.” They are “as new” so nothing to talk about.  “Mint” are  9.0 to 9.95 condition. In our opinion it is very difficult for a used guitar to be a perfect 10. We do describe any meaningful issues at the top of the listing.  If they are minor, we do not note esthetic issues such as pick marks or not thru the finish rubs and scratches on back; expect them. We always note if a case or other accessories are included. Cases and other accessories are not included unless stated or pictured in listing. If unclear, please email questions before you buy, Our replies are frank.

Payment: Payment is customarily made within 1 to 3 days. If there is to be a delay, a heads up from you will be appreciated. Safest Payment:  We prefer payment by America Express, Visa, MasterCard or discover. Credit card purchases afford you better protection from fraud and faster complaint handling.  Our superior standing and solid financial status qualifies us to accept Credit cards eliminating the need to offer the autocratic “service” of PayPal. If you must use PayPal we will accept your choice.

Important Information About Our Special Sales

We use eBay’s “Markdown Manager” to put select items on Sale reducing the listed price.  All our listings display the 14 day return policy but once an item is marked down or on closeout, it is As noted in the eBay published return policy information at the top of the listing, Markdown sales purchases are final.

We often get the question "why do your prices change. Our prices do not "change" but do get lowered when on eBay Markdown and eBay automatically returns to the listed price when the sale ends. . Please Note; while our listings are 30 day listings our reduced price sales end in 7 to 10 days. Do not lose out; The sale time remaining is shown at the top of the listing where the pricing info is displayed. We cannot honor sale prices after the sale ends.

When possible, for comparison, we show retail prices supplied by the manufacturer (“MSRP”). Vintage and collectable prices are researched in buyer’s guides, eBay prior sales, other online sales and highest prices found for similar items.

SH information: Our primary shipper is USPS. You are free to choose your preferred carrier with any additional costs borne by you. To see specific sh costs open the “Payment and Shipping” tab at the top of the listing. Email for shipping charges to Canada, Hawaii, Mexico, Alaska. Domestic Shipping time: Economy sh leaves our warehouse in 3 to 5 business days. Standard ships in 2 to 3 days and Expedited ships the first Business day after payment.  We are working with ebay to keep sh cost low- If cost is important to you please choose economy. If you choose the faster premium sh please do not penalize

us in the feedback ratings for the higher costs. Please remember that any feedback lower than a 5 ebay rates as a negative.  We strive for your awarding us all “5s” If there is a problem email us for answers

Best Offer Sales (“OBO”)

This adds some fun and can aid your decision to buy. From time-to-time select guitars are listed giving you the option to make an offer. Obviously we cannot sell at less than we pay for an item but if you make a reasonable offer, leaving some profit, most likely the offer will be accepted.

Your OBO will be responded to immediately  since we do not play one eBayer off against another. Please note: OBO  or Marked down sale items are “all sales final” and cannot be returned

All sales are final subject to the terms shown in this listing. Unpaid purchases are reported to ebay and if remain unpaid will result in a non-payer strike which can result in a loss of your privileges. Guitar set ups and strings are not warranteed since rough handling, travel/shipping can affect the setup. This is especially so if being shipped through many zones and atmospheric differences. We encourage you to have your guitar freshly set up upon arrival.

Most of our listings use the specification releases by the manufacturer. We assume no responsibility for changes made by manufacturer. The pictures used in the listing are of the actual guitar you will receive rely upon the pics over the printed specs. We no longer list serial Nos. due to the proliferation of knock-offs using stolen serial Nos. Email for serial number sufficient to check guitar manufacture date.

International Buyer Policy: Beginning this year, CITES regulation surrounding the international shipment of rosewood instruments has increased sh costs for international shipments.  A license must be bought for each guitar containing Rosewood.

Upon arrival postal and or customs may charge you brokerage, duty, VAT, tax, oversize charges, etc. for which you are responsible. Each country has package size restrictions. Packages refused by your country and returned/received back by GuitarStable will receive a full refund of the purchase price less the sh since sh is not refunded by usps. Most countries have loss/damage coverage  limits, if loss/damage occurs we assume no responsibility for amounts in excess of these limits. Due to the higher costs as well as the higher risks involved in international handling, except as noted, we do not accept returns from international buyers.  We are happy to work with international buyers but want you to recognize that relative to domestic shipping, international sh has greater costs, packaging, documentation and handling. It is due to these difficulties and risks that we cannot  accept international returns. Please note: Inquire for rates to Canada. Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, and other U.S. possessions do not qualify for Lower 48 rates Please inquire.
